Counselling Services

Our experienced counsellors provide compassionate counselling, however, we are not a crisis support service.

We see clients for a range of issues including:

  • anxiety and depression
  • relationship difficulties
  • bereavement and loss
  • trauma
  • family and domestic violence
  • parenting concerns
  • low self-esteem
  • perinatal anxiety, depression and concerns
  • support for carers
  • and a range of other emotional issues.

Referrals are not necessary.  You can simply phone us on 9431 0500 and leave your contact details with one of our friendly staff.

Short-term counselling of up to 10 sessions is available.  Or you may prefer to be involved in one of the groups facilitated by one of our counsellors.

We offer a sliding scale of fees for counselling sessions, which takes into account your level of income. Fees can be negotiated or waived depending on your circumstances.

Please contact us for more information.

Perinatal Counselling

Perinatal counselling services are available for women with a child aged 3 years and under to assist with their adjustment to parenting.

If you are experiencing antenatal or postnatal depression, anxiety and/or stress, individual counselling or group participation is available.

Circle of Security

The Circle of Security Parenting Program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. The program works with parents and care-givers to help them understand their child’s emotional needs, support the child’s ability to manage emotions, enhance the development of the child’s self-esteem and honour the innate desire for their child to be secure.

This program takes place at our centre on Wednesdays, from 10am – 12pm. Please call reception on 9431 0500 for more information and how to join this group.
