Our experienced and compassionate counsellors provide counselling for a range of issues including:
- anxiety and depression
- relationship difficulties
- bereavement and loss
- family and domestic violence
- parenting concerns
- low self-esteem
- and a range of other emotional issues.
Referrals are not necessary – you can simply phone us on 9431 0500, leave your contact details with one of our friendly staff, and a counsellor will ring back to make an appointment with you.
After an assessment, short-term counselling of up to 10 sessions is available or you may prefer to be involved in one of the groups facilitated by one of our counsellors.
We offer a sliding scale of fees for counselling appointments, which depend on your level of income. Fees can be negotiated or waived depending on circumstances.
Our counselling services are very popular and wait times for appointments can vary. Please contact us for more information.
If you are experiencing antenatal or postnatal depression, anxiety and/or stress, individual counselling or group participation is available.
Maintaining a speedy and effective response is a high priority and counsellors aim to make contact within two weeks of you contacting us.
One of our counsellors facilitates an ongoing weekly postnatal support group – Time Out for Mums at our Fremantle premises. Postnatal support groups of nine weeks duration are provided periodically in facilities in the City of Cockburn council area.
