Health screening

Health screening for a range of issues, is provided by our doctors as well as our highly experienced clinical nurses who are trained in women’s health.

You can have cervical cancer screening by appointment. Clinical nurses provide sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings with no appointment necessary on Tuesday to Friday between 9 am – 3 pm.

Well-women’s check

When you visit us for the first time for a doctor’s appointment, you may be offered a well-women’s health check. Conducted by our clinical nurses, well-women’s checks cover chronic disease and a range of women’s health issues and provide you with an opportunity to discuss any health or wellbeing issues you may have.

Well-women checks may also be offered prior to a doctor’s appointment, when you have not attended our medical service for more than twelve months.

Please note, to access services at the Centre, you pay an annual support fee. A concession is available and this fee may be waived if you are unable to pay.
