International Women’s Day 2018: #PressforProgress

Each year we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) to acknowledge the women around the world who continue to empower us. This year we celebrated the 2018 IWD message #PressforProgress. Our morning tea was enjoyed by women living/ working in the SouthWest Metro Region of Perth. Local Perth musician and WAAPA Student, Alice Chevalis, performed beautiful music for us. Alisa Ranson from Neami National shared her work in mental health and suicide prevention. Both women are an inspiration, their unique stories draw on strength and determination. Thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success, especially Gilbert’s Fresh Market in Hilton who very generously donated so much gorgeous fruit for our event.

We are committed to continuing to #PressforProgress in helping our community members enjoy improved health and social wellbeing.
