Family and Domestic Violence

 

1800 Respect – Violence against women support line

A national counselling helpline and support service for information on sexual assault, family violence or violence against women.

 

Anglicare Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support Service

Provides support and advocacy to victims of family and domestic violence

 

Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (DVAS)

DVAS is a free service which helps women who have experienced, or are at risk of domestic violence access support.

 

The Domestic Violence Legal Unit

The Legal Aid Domestic Violence Legal Unit assists women who are experiencing domestic violence, advising and assisting women with restraining order matters.

 

Family Violence Service

A WA government voluntary and free service available for family violence victims who may need assistance with court support, information and referral to other services. The Family Violence Service is available at the Magistrates Court of Western Australia at Armadale, Fremantle, Joondalup, Midland, Perth and Rockingham.
